In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon is acquiring AWS3 licenses from Smith Bagley in Alabama, California, and Pennsylvania.  First Communications is reacquiring the LMDS licenses in Ohio that they assigned to T-Mobile several months ago.  While T-Mobile controlled the licenses, the FCC issued new licenses for what is now the L1 and L2 channels of the Upper Microwave Flexible Use Service spectrum.  Thus, T-Mobile still owns 850MHz of spectrum in each of these markets.  Sprint has 3 new leases.  Two of those leases are in San Diego where they previously leased the same licenses.  The third lease is for Davenport, IA which was previously leased to SpeedConnect.  ATNI expanded their leases with AT&T to include AT&T's 700MHz spectrum in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado.  These appears to be ATNI's first leases for low band spectrum with AT&T.  The final lease appears to SI Wireless leasing 600MHz spectrum from a parent company.
