In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon has filed to acquire two cellular licenses from Central Louisiana License Co. and two licenses from TX-10 License Co providing additional cellular spectrum to Verizon in Texas and Louisiana.  Below are maps that indicate the licensed counties for both Central Louisiana and TX-10 and the last map indicates Verizon's cellular spectrum in the Texas and Louisiana area.  With the Central Louisiana purchase, Verizon will have one band of cellular spectrum in 6 counties, and they will have both bands in four (Louisiana) counties.  With the TX-10 License Co. purchase Verizon will have one band of cellular spectrum in 4 Texas counties and 5 Louisiana counties.  In the remaining Texas and Louisiana counties Verizon will control both cellular spectrum bands.  In the final transaction, Matthew Ache is being assigned a BRS license covering South Bend, ID from an estate.
