FCC Transactions - November 14, 2018
In this weeks FCC Transactions, T-Mobile is acquiring the remaining 700MHz - A block markets from Cavalier Wireless. Prior to their previous multi-license 700MHz - A block sale to T-Mobile, Cavalier dis-aggregated the Greensboro and Charlotte metro areas from their original license areas. Cavalier did this to potentially sell those urban areas to USCellular, which has a large North Carolina operation. Evidently that didn't work out and the licenses were available for T-Mobile to acquire. The week Custer Telephone executed a long term lease for Verizon's 700MHz - Upper C block spectrum over a small area in Lemhi County, ID.
