In this week's FCC transaction, Verizon applied to acquire 2 AWS licenses from VTel Wireless in New Hampshire and Vermont. VTel Wireless, in turn, acquires an AWS-3 call sign from Verizon also in New Hampshire. Liberty on the other hand, files to acquire one 700 MHz, one AWS and 3 AWS-3 call signs from Claro in Puerto Rico. Viaero also acquired a couple of 700 MHz licenses from US Cellular in Nebraska.
