How Many 600MHz Channels Remain Available in Each PEA Market?

With AT&T's announced purchase of Echostar's 600MHz spectrum our first investigative blog post will evaluate the remaining channels of spectrum that are not controlled by AT&T or T-Mobile.  In later posts we will evaluate AT&T and T-Mobile's totals in each PEA Market.

As the map indicates, nearly 40% of the 416 PEA markets have no available 600MHz channels outside of what AT&T and T-Mobile will control.  Over 50% of the PEA markets have either 1 or 2 channels available.
