Weekly Spectrum Transaction Summary - August 14, 2020 October 14, 2020 00:00

This week's FCC transactions lead off with two assignment authorizations filed by Verizon.  Verizon filed to acquire two PCS licenses in Iowa from Community Digital Wireless.  Verizon also filed to acquire PCS and AWS-1 licenses from  NEIT Wireless in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.  Bluegrass Cellular filed to lease Verizon's AWS-1 spectrum in 31 Kentucky counties and Inland Cellular filed to lease T-Mobile's PCS spectrum in 7 partial counties covering Washington and Oregon.  Inland is receiving access to the PCS spectrum outside of T-Mobile's existing PCS coverage.  Tampnet USA also filed to lease two AWS-1 licenses covering the Gulf of Mexico from AT&T.  The final block of transactions involve new lease applications between T-Mobile and six EBS licensees.   Each of these new lease applications is a renewed lease, re-leasing a license that they currently lease.  These lease applications provide continued access to the EBS spectrum in Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania,  and Alabama.
