Weekly Spectrum Transaction Summary - December 27, 2019 February 27, 2020 00:00

In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon has filed to acquire an AWS-1 license covering Great Falls MT from 3 Rivers Telephone.  Appalachian Wireless also filed to acquire parts of two call signs of 24GHz spectrum from Bluegrass Cellular.  Appalachian is receiving the counties on the eastern half of the Richmond KY PEA for both licenses.  This transaction involves spectrum that was won in Auction 102.  USCellular has filed an assignment application to acquire an Iowa PCS license from Mediapolis Telephone.  In this week's new leases, Santa Fe Indian School submitted a new leasing application for 4 channels of EBS spectrum covering Santa Fe NM.  Sprint also submitted a new lease for 4 channels of BRS spectrum in Puerto Rico.  For each of these new leases, the lessee was previously leasing the spectrum.  In the final transaction this week, Inland Cellular is receiving the rights to a lease of 4 BRS channels covering Spokane WA from ExliptixNet Broadband.
