FCC Transactions from July 24, 2019
In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon has filed to acquire parts of three PCS licenses from Union Cellular. In total, Verizon is acquiring spectrum covering 12 Colorado, Utah, and Idaho counties. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma filed to lease the 700MHz Guard band channel in 3 Oklahoma counties from Western Farmers Electric Cooperative. The remaining transactions are new leases that Sprint has submitted for licenses it was already leasing. 11 of these new leases are for licenses in North Carolina and the final new lease covers the Mobile, Alabama area.
