Weekly Spectrum Transaction Summary - September 13, 2019 November 13, 2019 00:00

In this week's spectrum transactions, Verizon has filed to acquire the 28GHz L1 and L2 channels in nine Illinois counties.  Eastern Illini Electric controlled these licenses before Auction 101.  This is the second week that Verizon has acquired existing 28GHz licenses.  Also this week, Lake County Internet submitted a new lease to use the 700MHz guard band in South Boston City, Virginia.  The final transactions involve subleases between Sprint and Casair Net for EBS and BRS channels in Michigan.  Sprint is subleasing two callsigns and 3 channels each from Casair Net and Casair Net is leasing two callsigns from Sprint.  The full subleasing details are not available for the B345 and B446 callsigns.  Each callsign includes 13 BRS channels but it is unlikely that Sprint would include more than 3 or 4 channels in the sublease.  For the WLX253 and WND454 call signs, Casair Net retains the ability to operate on the A4 and G4 channels respectively.
