FCC Transactions from December 23, 2025
In this week's FCC Daily Digest Central Main Power filed to acquire the 700MHz Guard Band channel in 3 - Maine counties from BPC Spectrum. T-Mobile also filed to acquire 4 additional EBS licenses, providing long term access to the licenses covering Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and Louisiana. Vero Broadband filed to cancel their PCS license covering a portion of Eagle, CO. The next set of applications are notable modification applications where the licensees are requesting to change the channel framework for their licenses from the old EBS channel plan to the new EBS channel plan. Each of these licenses is centered on Billing, MT. The filed modification applications represent 5 of the 8 licenses that remain on the old EBS band plan. With this change in the works, we anticipate that T-Mobile is in advanced discussions to purchase the licenses or Gallatin Wireless is planning a 5G or LTE deployment. All of the remaining old EBS licenses are either owned or leased by Gallatin Wireless.
