In this week's FCC Daily Digest, Mobile Citizen filed to acquire an EBS license in Missouri from Southern Illinois University. Mobile Citizen has a pre-existing arrangement with T-Mobile, requiring T-Mobile to lease its spectrum. T-Mobile also filed to acquire four additional EBS licenses, covering spectrum in Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. In North Carolina, T-Mobile filed to lease the tribal license area owned by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. The final group of transactions involves transferring the spectrum licenses controlled by PTI Pacifica to a new entity established to allow the PTI Pacifica owner to transfer company ownership to his children.
