In this week's FCC transactions, Mid-Rivers Cellular is acquiring parts of 5 AWS-3 licenses in Montana from Triangle Communication. In total they are receiving 12 counties of the AWS-3 G block. Verizon is acquiring an AWS-3 license in Kansas and an AWS-3 license in Texas from Beaulah Kurian. The FCC has terminated a 700MHz - B block license previously held by Choice Phone in the Mariana Islands for not meeting its build out obligations. Sprint submitted 2 new leases for EBS spectrum in California and Alabama. Sprint previously leased the California spectrum but the Alabama spectrum is new to their control. The last transactions include subleases of Spectrum Holding's leased EBS spectrum in Florida and Alabama by Point Broadband.
