Weekly Spectrum Transactions Summary - September 17, 2025

In this week's transactions we want to highlight the assignment transactions with Grizzly Wireless.  Grizzly Wireless filed to acquire 9 - 600MHz licenses from Tradewinds Wireless.  This adds to the 600MHz licenses that we are not sure are part of the AT&T purchase.  Since we previously have indicated Grizzly Wireless transactions under the Dish name, we will summarize the Grizzly Wireless transactions here.  Grizzly Wireless had their first transactions filed in March 2025 when they received 6 - 3.45GHz licenses from Dish's Weminuche entity.  These 6  licenses are now being acquired by Omega Wireless meaning they are not part of the AT&T deal.  In April 2025 Grizzly Wireless filed to acquire 119 - 600MHz licenses from Omega Wireless.  With today's transactions, the Grizzly Wireless entity controls 128 - 600MHz licenses that may or may not be part of the transaction with AT&T.   As we indicated in a blog post on the AT&T/Echostar transaction, AT&T's press release indicated the deal included approximately 20MHz of 600MHz spectrum which our tools indicated would be 18MHz without the Grizzly Wireless spectrum and 19MHz with the Grizzly Wireless spectrum.  At this point, we are not positive that Grizzly Wireless's 600MHz spectrum is included in the initial deal.

In the remaining transactions Red Mountain Networks filed to acquire an EBS white space license in Nevada from Evolve Cellular.  T-Mobile also filed more applications to complete USCellular's assignment of the 5 - 600MHz licenses and 3 - 700MHz A block licenses.  These are both part of the original FCC approved deal.  T-Mobile also filed to acquire 6 - 600MHz licenses from Spotlight Media along with 3 additional EBS licenses in Kentucky and Maryland.
