In this week's FCC transactions, Sprint submitted new leases for 15 EBS call signs all covering North Carolina.  Sprint had active leases for all of these licenses.  NextWeb also submitted new leases for spectrum in the LMDS A and LMDS B blocks for Los Angeles County.  NextWeb previously leased spectrum for their systems in Los Angeles in the LMDS A spectrum that was converted to the L1 and L2 channels that are being used to 5G networks in the 28GHz band, but now they are using the parts of the old LMDS frequency band that are still defined for fixed wireless.  The last transaction is a new lease that White Cloud Technology has filed for a block of EBS spectrum in southern Kentucky.

In this week's FCC transactions, AT&T filed to acquire an AWS-3 license in Arizona from Gila River Telecommunications.  Verizon filed to acquire 3  AWS-1 licenses, all covering Northern Texas.  Sprint submitted 5 new leases for EBS spectrum in North Carolina.  Sprint had unexpired active leases for all of these call signs.  The last new lease is between Nevada Gold Mines and ATNI.  This lease will enable Nevada Gold Mines to utilize ATNI's AWS-1 spectrum at their gold mining facility in Northern Nevada.

In this week's FCC transactions, NE Colorado has filed to acquire two AWS-1 licenses in Kansas from S&T Telephone.  Northern Arizona University is acquiring an EBS license covering Lake Charles, LA from Delta School of Business.  Northern Arizona has made 3 or 4 of these EBS acquisitions over the last quarter.  This call sign is currently leased to Sprint and it will continue to be leased to Sprint after this application is approved.  In the last transaction NE Iowa Telephone (NEIT) continues to file new leasing applications to have access to AT&T's PCS and AWS-1 spectrum in rural partial counties.  In this case all of the leases are focused on 13 counties in Iowa and Illinois.

In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon filed to acquire Union Telephone's PCS spectrum in the Pocatello, ID and Salt Lake, UT markets.  In addition, Verizon is acquiring Union's AWS-1 spectrum in the Idaho Falls area.  Sprint submitted a new lease for Gulf Coast State College's EBS spectrum in the panhandle of Florida.  This spectrum was previously leased to Spectrum Holdings.  SouthernLinc filed to lease a two channels of Sprint's BRS license in Augusta, GA.  The final application involved ATN International requesting EBS white space channels in  St. Croix, St. John, and St. Thomas Islands.  ATN filed an special temporary authority (STA) to operate these channels after Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.  This STA provided access to the EBS channels on each of these islands that ATN did not previously control.  It will be interesting to see if this application is approved with the FCC planning an auction for these 2.5GHz licenses.  Although I would consider it unlikely that the FCC would grant this application, it is conceivable that the FCC could grant the application because of the investment and support ATNI has continued to provide since the hurricane.

In this week's FCC transactions AT&T is acquiring two PCS licenses in Utah from South Central Communications.  Verizon is acquiring two AWS-1 licenses in Tennessee from Carolina West.  Sprint has a series of new EBS spectrum leases.  The first two leases, with Northern Arizona University Foundation, are repapered leases.  Northern Arizona University just received these licenses from their former owner who previously leased them to Sprint.  These licenses willing continue to be leased to Sprint.  The Fayetteville City School lease is a new lease to Sprint in Arkansas.  This license was not previously leased.  The remaining EBS leases were previous leased to Spectrum Holdings.  They all provide license area in the panhandle of Florida. Next, Mora Valley Wireless is leasing the 700MHz C Block from Northern New Mexico Telecom.  Ondas Holdings continued their recent leasing of BPC Spectrum's 700MHz guard band license in New Hampshire county.  Lastily, Smith Bagley is leasing two 700MHz licenses from San Carlos Apache Telecom Utility in Arizona.

In this week's FCC transactions, AT&T is acquiring the 700MHz lower C-block license for Puerto Rico from 700MHz LLC.  NE Colorado is acquiring a 700MHz license and a AWS-1 license in Nebraska from Three River Telco.  BPC Spectrum was very active, leasing parts of the 700MHz - Guard Band channels to Intelliwave, CATTCOMM, Ondas, North Carolina Wireless, River Valley Internet, Susquehanna Broadband, and WATCH TV.  11 licenses are involved in these leases covering Tennessee, Virginia, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  First Energy is also leasing its 700MHz Guard Band channel in parts of West Virginia and Ohio to Intelliwave.  NEIT Wireless is leasing AT&T's AWS-1 channel in two Iowa counties, and Chat Mobility is leasing Verizon's AWS-1 channel in 6 Iowa counties.  In the last transaction, Oceus Networks is subleasing the EBS - A1 channel in Tuscon from Sprint.

In this week's FCC transactions Sprint is leasing their low band spectrum adjacent to the cellular band to Southern Linc.  Included below is a channel plan for the B and X SMR channels.  Sprint had these channels available for a 2.5MHz CDMA channel and a 5MHz LTE channel at low band frequencies.  Southern Linc appears to be picking up disaggregated counties where the spectrum that Sprint is currently operating on in more urban areas has not been included.  This will expand both the capacity of Southern Linc's LTE network and the capacity of their network since they have typically been limited to 1.4MHz and 3MHz channel sizes.  The markets affected are throughout the southeast including Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.  Also in this week's transactions, Sprint submitted a new lease with Concordia University to access their 4 EBS channels in Lincoln, NE.  These channels are new to Sprint; they were previously leased to Xanadoo.  Chat Mobility is leasing one AWS-1 call sign from Verizon covering 6 Iowa counties.  The remaining transactions involve the 700MHz guard band licenses owned by BPC Spectrum.  North Carolina Wireless is leasing this spectrum for 6 North Carolina counties, Susquehanna Broadband is leasing this spectrum for 2 Pennsylvania counties, and WATCH TV is leasing this spectrum for 1 Indiana county.

In this week's FCC transactions, Ondas Holdings has filed to acquire 3 - 700MHz guard band licenses covering Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, and 3 counties in Texas and Louisiana.  Access 700 is the current licensee.  Access 700 is also leasing the 700MHz guard band channel to PowerSouth Energy in 39 Alabama counties and 6 Florida counties.  Aeronet Wireless also filed to lease the 700MHz guard band license covering Puerto Rico from BPC Spectrum.  The last transactions relate to an ongoing effort between AT&T and regional carriers to provide coverage in rural areas.  Chat Mobility is leasing AT&T's PCS and AWS-1 spectrum for 13 partial counties in Iowa and Illinois.

In this week's FCC transactions, US Cellular continued to roll up their partner's spectrum through assignment authorization transactions with Barat Wireless and Carroll Wireless.  The affected licenses cover the AWS-1 and PCS spectrum bands in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, and West Virginia.  CATTCOMM filed a new lease application for the 700MHz guard band in 3 Washington counties.  Cherry Capital Connection filed a lease application for the 700MHz guard band channel covering 68 Michigan counties.  Also in the 700MHz band Farmers Telephone filed a lease for Horry Telephone's 700MHz A block spectrum in Florence County, SC.  AT&T continued to make their low band spectrum available to regional partners with 30 Cellular and 700MHz leases to Michigan Wireless for partial counties leases in roughly 10 Wisconsin Counties..  Sprint submitted an updated lease for EBS spectrum in Los Angeles (Orange County) with Sana Ana Unified School District.  The last series of transactions reflect Sprint and T-Mobile intitating a new block of  PCS spectrum leases in the northeast, southeast, and northwest.

In this week's FCC Transactions, Ztark Spectrum is acquiring the BRS2 channel covering Albuquerque, NM from Business Music.  Sprint has filed to lease or sublease 4 EBS licenses.  They are leasing the BRS H3 channel in Miami-Dade County and the EBS D channels covering New Jersey and New York from Rutgers University.  Sprint will be subleasing the EBS A channels and G channels from Wisper Wireless covering St Cloud. MN.  The Rutgers lease increases the number of channels that Sprint leases from 2 to 4 channels.  All of the Wisper Wireless channels will be new to Sprint's network.  In addition, Sprint is subleasing their EBS A channels in Phoenix to Oceus Networks.  The last EBS spectrum transaction leases the EBS B channels (pre-transition) from Excellence in Education to Gallatin Wireless Internet.  These channels cover Billing, MT.  The remaining transactions are focused on the 700MHz guard band.  First, Lake Country Internet is leasing the 700MHz guard band channel in Mecklenburg, VA from Access 700.  Wisper ISP is also leasing the 700MHz guard band channel in three Illinois counties.

In this week's spectrum transactions, AT&T has filed to acquire 2 AWS-1 licenses in Michigan from Agri-Valley Communication (Thumb Wireless) and 1 - 700MHz license in Indiana from Ligtel Communications.  I believe the 700MHz acquisition continues AT&T's quest to fortify their non-FirstNet 700MHz spectrum for a low band 5G play.  AT&T has also filed to acquire a cellular license in Texas from TX-10 Licensee.  Sprint and C Spire have filed transactions for a spectrum exchange where Sprint receives PCS spectrum in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee while C Spire further concentrates its holdings in Mississippi.  Sprint has also filed to acquire 6 - BRS licenses in Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois.  Sprint has recently filed leases on all of these licenses or they previously leased this spectrum.  USCellular continues to roll up their partner spectrum assets to the parent company by acquiring spectrum licenses from Barat Wireless and Carroll Wireless in Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Washington.  In addition, USCellular has filed to acquire 3 - 700MHz licenses in Iowa from Chat Mobility and 1- 700MHz license in Iowa from Grand River Communications.  Lake Country Internet continue to acquire leases for the 700MHz guard band channel in 1 Pennsylvania county and 10 Virginia counties.  Finally, Sprint is leasing parts of their PCS spectrum in Maine to Wireless Partners. Most of these leases are partial county leases.

In this week's FCC Transactions USCellular has filed to take complete control of a AWS-1 license controlled by their partner Carroll Wireless in Oregon.  This transaction will not change the control indicated by our spectrum data and tools.  Northern Arizona University Foundation has filed to acquire two Philadelphia EBS call signs from WHYY.  Northern Arizona University Foundation has typically leased their spectrum to Sprint.  Sprint has initiated 8 new EBS and BRS leases from a variety of spectrum holders.  The Libmot license area includes Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri.  The remaining leases cover Kentucky, Washington, Missouri, Alabama, and Pennsylvania. All of these leases are updated leases that Sprint previously controlled.   MitoTec has filed a new lease for the 700MHz guard band in 8 Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas counties.  Pacific Wireless Communications is leasing the 700MHz guard band for Hawaii, HI.  Next, RS Access has initiated new leases on 59 MVDDS call signs.  The MVDDS callsigns provide 500MHz of downlink spectrum in the 12.2GHz band.  The last transaction provides a new lease from BPC Spectrum to USAi.net for one New Hampshire county.

In this weeks FCC Transactions, USCellular is acquiring a single county of an AWS-1 license in Washington state from their partner, Carroll Wireless.  Because we consider Carroll Wireless' assets to be under USCellular's control, the control of this spectrum won't appear to change hands in our tools.  Beamspeed is leasing four channels of an EBS license near Yuma, AZ.  This license was not previously leased.  Sprint has filed 4 new EBS lease applications.  These licenses cover channels in Central Texas, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Georgia.  None of the licenses appear to have been previously leased.  The next application involves Cordova Wireless leasing AT&T's 700MHz spectrum in two Alaskan counties.  The last application has Wisper ISP leasing 4 channels of an EBS license in Southern Illinois.

In this week's FCC transactions Horry Telephone filed to acquire three 600MHz licenses in North and South Carolina from Farmers Telephone.  USCellular also filed to acquire three AWS-1 licenses in Maine and Tennessee from their Barat Wireless and Carroll Wireless partners.  All of Barat and Carroll Wireless' licenses are already reflected as USCellular controlled in our databases so this transaction will only be changing the licensee name, not the control.  The final set of transactions, provide W.A.T.C.H. TV with leased access to the 700MHz guard band in 7 Indiana counties.  W.A.T.C.H. TV stated in their application that they will use this 1x1MHz channel to provide rural internet service.  W.A.T.C.H. TV previously offered wireless cable television service and broadband services to parts of Ohio and Indiana with EBS/BRS channels that were not transitioned to the new bandplan.  Many of the channels they were using for wireless cable have transitioned to Sprint control over the last year.

In this week's FCC Transactions, Sprint initiated new leases for two callsigns (8 channels) in central Missouri.  Both of these leases are new to Sprint, taking them away from ComSpec Broadband.  In addition, ATN International filed to lease 1 full county and 1 partial county in Colorado from AT&T.  This is an expansion of AT&T and ATNI's partnership to allow the rural operator access to AT&T's spectrum in rural markets.  The last transaction assigns 1 - 700MHz guard band license from Dominion 700 to BPC Spectrum.

In this week's FCC transactions, AT&T has filed to acquire 6 - PCS licenses, 14 - 700MHz licenses, and 9 - AWS-1 licenses from C Spire.  These licenses cover the following states; Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas.  This transaction seems to indicate that AT&T wants to increase its lower 700MHz channel size (for 5G) and C Spire seem to be withdrawing to their core markets.  The remaining transactions for this week involve Sprint submitting new leases for spectrum they already controlled in Nebraska, Iowa, and Florida.

In this week's FCC transactions, Verizon has filed to acquire 1 PCS and 4 AWS-1 licenses from Grain Spectrum covering Indiana and Ohio.  Verizon was previously leasing these spectrum blocks from Grain.  In addition, Verizon is acquiring an AWS-1 license in Indiana from Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone.  T-Mobile has filed to acquire the 700MHz - A block license in Darrington County, SC.  AT&T continued their plans to lease rural blocks of their spectrum to rural operators.  AT&T leased additional blocks of their PCS spectrum to ATNI in Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico.  AT&T leased blocks of their PCS, 700MHz, and Cellular spectrum to Wireless Partners in New Hampshire and Maine.  Finally, Sprint initiated a new lease for Johnson & Wales University's EBS spectrum covering Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts.
